We had a fun filled Arts Week. Our theme for the week was Pirates and Mermaids. We read books, had poetry, wrote stories, dressed up, sang songs, danced, created and made lots of things that pirates and mermaids need. We made pirate hats, hooks, binoculars, maps, flags and treasure boxes. We made mermaid necklaces, crowns, maps, flags and binoculars. We completed the week with a Pirate/Mermaid treasure hunt. We had clues to follow around the school and we found x marks the spot and then dug for our treasure.
Just look at all that treasure.
